“Location. Location. Location.” We have all heard this before. Whether you are physically searching for a house or watching someone on a TV show, everyone is familiar with this phrase. Location is a very important step to think about when it comes to purchasing a home.
There is never a time in my life where I have felt more out of control than many years ago in Costa Rica. Our family was there for a year studying Spanish in preparation for our missionary career in Peru. One of the fun aspects of that time was our frequent “paseos.” These were short trips out to the lovely countryside to experience all the beauty and nature that Costa Rica has to offer.
I grew up watching Mr. Wizard. He was a scientist who performed cool experiments on TV. The result of his influence is that every kid my age wanted a chemistry set.
One of the most familiar symbols in our lives is the one indicating Low Battery. If we don’t pay attention to them, our devices go black. Our clocks go dark. Our calendars and schedules go silent. These batteries require recharging.
“Do you, Casey, take Jantzen to be your loving husband? Do you promise to love, honor, . . .” “I do.” That was a magical moment. However…
